Fettucine in Tomato Cream Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 lb large prawns, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 tbs butter
  • chili powder, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, kosher salt (until it looks right)
  • 3-4 tbs butter
  • 3-4 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 tbs cornstarch
  • 1 heavy pinch kosher salt
  • 2 pints heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup shredded parmesan
  • 3-4 oz tomato paste
  • fettucine

Notes

This experiment turned out to be one of the best cream sauces I have ever made. It's about 8 billion WW points (give or take), though, so it's a special treat only.
