I've taken up a hobby - brewing. It's a craft. No doubt some people I've known would be happy if I'd taken this up a couple of years ago. But I've recently come to the realization that I can, easily, control my alcohol consumption. I have no fears of losing myself to the drink. Mostly, after one good night of drink, I don't want it for weeks and weeks (Body says 'Water! Give me WATER DAMNIT'). It's Yet Another thing I do that a lot of women don't. And I'm proud of it!
I'm currently taking a belly dance class. It's obviously a beginner class, but it's lots of fun. And it's something that resembles excersize. For a good resource on Belly dance, have a look at my instructor Shira's website.
Normally I don't give in to writing an online journal. I kind of consider it the ultimate in vanity. Often, it's an excuse to be vitriolic and nasty to people, with the excuse of 'hey, it's my website. I can do what I want'. Sure, you can. But it's still not all that nice. I'm just going to infrequently babble over here. Well, I was. I started a Livejournal because Lucent's firewall sucks ass. here.
Gaming - it's been a long time since I've been able to roleplay in a ftf game. It's nice to be in it again!
