DruidMuck What is DruidMuck?
Who's who on DruidMuck?
What's all this about burnings?
DruidMuck is the second-oldest continuous Vanilla TinyMUCK on the net today. (CaveMUCK, cave.tcp.com 2283, being the oldest.) It was established in April 1992 at New Mexico State University. Unlike many other virtual worlds on the net, you would be hard-pressed to find any single theme that defines DruidMuck. Although the core of the world is a town known as St. Cuthbertville, an avid wanderer may also find himself exploring a lunar colony, sunning around a pool in San Diego, or playing hearts with a robot in China_Blue's bed.

Though builders and programmers are welcome -- we do require applicants to demonstrate some proficiency and imagination before handing out bits -- most of the users of DruidMuck log on to chat with good friends from around the country, and to a lesser extent, the world.

DruidMuck is inhabited by a diverse collection of people (and robots) from various parts of the country. For a bit of insight onto who these people are on and off the net, we have a directory of players with links to their home pages and email addresses, where available. There's also a page devoted to the various offline parties, better known as "burnings", that have occurred through the years.

DruidMuck can be reached via telnet at druidmuck.egbt.org 4201.
