Leia d'WindDreamer v'Seth ti'Amonra is my AmberMUSH character and I've played her over two years now. I was brought over to Amber by someone who was playing Bleys, and I orginially intended for her to just sort of be my starting-out character. Two-years later, she's since taken on a life of her own. The main thing to understand about Leia is that she is a cat. She's part Chaosian, and a shapeshifter at that, and she also gets her cat side from the Tenebrae tribe of Crinos.

Leia's history is pretty interesting:

She began in Seattle, born there some 18 years ago. Lien of House Tinzien found her when she tried to pick his pocket, and failed miserably. He almost shot her, and she shifted into a panther and ran away. He followed, figuring that she might be of Chaos. He was right. She didn't find that out till much later. He trumped her out of Seattle, to Glingerry, where she met Bleys for the first time, and hung out with Lien a lot.

She and Lien more or less started dating. Leia was adopted by Aldebaran and Eldrik as their adoptive daughter as well. Leia wandered around and found Crinos and for some reason, she fit in there. She met Souldancer, a Venator, and then Darkstalker, her Sha'Cri. Leia then discovered that she was a missing Tenebrae, a were-panther, of Crinos. Her tribe had been mostly decimated by the evil Serpens, and the other Verdimm were quite surprised to find out she was one of them.

While Leia was in Seattle for a time, she was attacked by ten thugs in Power Armor and she was knocked unconscious. Her evil father, Seth, had found her. Seth, an insane Chaos Lord, kidnapped her, and took her to Denile, where she found out she was his daughter, and was apart of House Amonra.

At this time, Lien went missing. Leia went frantic. She went to Seth, to ask him to help her find her lover, and Seth mind-raped her and stole her "soulname" from her, gaining power over her in Shadows where such knowledge is power. Seth promised to help her find Lien though. Little did Seth know that Lien did not wish to be found.

Lien was off in Shadow with Nightmoon, a beautiful Venator with some pheromone problems. Lien and Leia eventually broke up (and got back together and broke up) over this, but not before Leia, in a fit of pique, shaved Nightmoon almost bald. (Her brother Aramas shapeshifted Nightmoon back to normal though. Foo.)

Leia was heartbroken. Her Sha'Cri, Darkstalker, talked her into having children for the decimated tribe. After a night of love in Crinos, Leia got pregnant with quadruplets. Unfortunately, when she was only a couple of months pregnant, she accidentally walked into a fight at the World's End Bar, and Sejanus (Lien's cousin) shot her with a spell. One of the babies, a girl, died. The rest were saved in the hospital.

Souldancer then got into trouble over some trouble with Duffy and Samantha. Leia, pregnant and irate at the time, took out her anger on Nathan, and whomped him in the head with a boot because he was trying to apprehend Souldancer. At a later time, Benedict kidnapped both Souldancer and Leia. Souldancer was eventually cleared of wrong doing (Aldebaran was acting as his lawyer) by Desdinova, but Duffy was sentenced to death. Samantha was exiled from Amber.

Leia and Darkstalker had three lovely children. Dory, Lark, and Gem. Darkstalker, Leia, Stormdreamer, and several Unicae, as well as a couple "lost" Tenebrae spent time raising them. Leia also spent time learning how to increase her shapeshifting abilities from her brother, Corinthi.

One day, Leia saw Sejanus walk into Niemands, with a little girl at his side, who called him Daddy. Leia's mind snapped. She saw Aubrey as her daughter that Sejanus had stolen. (In reality, Aubrey was Armand and Nes' daughter, not Sejanus') Leia tracked Aubrey down and then kidnapped her. She took Aubrey to Crinos, and shapeshifted Aubrey into a panther, and told Gem that Aubrey was his sister, the one that she thought had been killed by Sejanus. Leia had made up this fantasy that Aubrey was really the daughter she had lost when she was pregnant. They spent several months together, Aubrey being only 3 or 4 at the time, began to believe that Leia was her mom. Aldebaran came and with a little psychic help, showed Leia what she had done. Aubrey went back with Nes. Gem was devastated, and left the Tenebrae. Leia, despondent of what she had done, went off into Shadow.

While Leia was off in shadow, she lost her memory. She eventually made it back to Crinos and her bre'hun, Souldancer, helped her regain her memories. She and Lien broke up for the finally time. Leia met her brothers, Det and Keldrin. At this point in time, Eldrik found out Aldebaran had slept with Souldancer. Eldrik took much offense to this and marched his army into Crinos, decimated the Venator tribe, and killed Souldancer and several other of Leia's friends from Crinos. Leia tried to find out who the killers were, and ended up being shot by Dalt in the process. Deb, fearing that Leia would get into more trouble, spoke to Eldrik and they confessed to Leia that it was Eldrik and his men that attacked Crinos. Leia got...a tad pissed. A couple yelling matches ensued and Leia was forced to give back her trumps. Leia also thought that Gem was with the Venator at that time, but fortunately, he was not, he was off in Shadow in search of Aubrey.

At this time, Leia found out that her son, Silvino, was still alive. Silvinus, Sil's father, had told her the baby died when it was born. Leia, sixteen at the time, believed him. When Leia found out Sil was alive, she ran through shadow, found him, and basically just took him from Eleni, and took his friend Uma too. She took the two children to Glingerry, to be raised in a somewhat stable environment in Bleys' manse. Most recently, Silvino and Leia were walking through shadow, and got caught in a Shadowstorm, and they were both aged several years. Silvino's a teenager right now, and driving her to distraction. Leia has also made contact with Gem, too, who is secretly working for Nes, as her kitchen boy, so he can be near Aubrey.

More recently, Aramas, has stepped down from House Amonra, going into shadow. Leia has taken over the house, becoming Lady Amonra.

As of late, things have not been going that well for Leia. She fell in love with Mirth, Lord Sawall, however, he did not return her feelings. Leia began dating Douglas on the rebound, but, that too ultimately did not work out. Douglas, Bleys' son and Priest of the Unicorn, did not truly love Leia. Her son, Silvan, has found his roots in Amber, and in Leia's eyes, has turned his back on her and Amonra. Then, there has been some tension between House Amonra and House Yyvrael, Amonra's vassal House. More trouble seems to be brewing in the future for Leia...
